Thank you for your interest in becoming an AIA Triangle Allied Member!
An AIA allied member is someone that is in a related profession and/or trade, but not holding an architectural degree nor on track for licensure. The purpose of an allied membership is to develop long-term professional relations and promote communication between the architectural community and allied industries. Those with established professional reputations who are employed outside of architectural practice but are involved in positions allied to the field of architecture may apply.
Individual allied members may include engineers, planners, landscape architects, sculptors, muralists, artists, and others in government, education, journalism, manufacturing, industry and/or other fields allied to architecture.
