Real Matter Workshop is a community-driven education program for architects. The seven night program features visiting lecturers and local speakers that touch down on realized stressors, and possible solutions. The program addresses projects that aspirationally set standards for possibilities in architecture to change cities.
Night Two is the Local Matters Panel. With a distinguished and diverse group of panelists, the Local Matters Panel will explore topics related to the development of the surrounding area and its impact on community and local matters. Panelists: Carmen Cauthen – Historian, Author of Historic Black Neighborhoods of Raleigh Bynum Walter – Senior Planner – City of Raleigh Chuck Flink – Director, Initiative for Community Growth and Development James Montague – President of F7 International Development Reggie Edwards – Executive Director of the Encouraging Place.
