Join Lynch Mykins President, Dave Mykins, for an in-person Lunch & Learn program at the Lynch Mykins’ downtown Raleigh office. This program reviews the process and procedures for handling a forensic investigation including assembling the team, documentation of the conditions, and resolution of the causes. We will examine the details of a professional investigation including dealing with insurance companies, site safety, protection of the remaining building, material testing and chain of custody just to name a few.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Participants will discover how to assemble a qualified team for a forensic investigation based on the components required to take the project from initial investigation through documentation and final report
- Participants will define what important considerations should be discussed with the owner of the site including site security, active utilities, accessibility, communication, and if there are portions of the site that remain occupiable
- Participants will identify the proper organization, tone, and content of the final report required at the end of the investigation
- Participants will establish a chain of custody for critical elements of the forensic study to ensure validity of testing and reports
