This program will explain what to consider when you or your client are interested in renovating a general office building into a science and technology building.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Participants will identify structural steel column placement as well as floor to ceiling heights that will facilitate converting an office building into laboratory or science/technology space
- Participants will differentiate between normal power and generator backup power, as well as UPS+ generator backup power
- Participants will differentiate between classifications or air quality and bio-safety levels
- Participants will gain an understanding of appropriate HVAC that would be required for different applications
