Attendees will receive information about how to properly detail Cast Stone for a variety of project types. Building movement and dead loads as a function of the design requirements for veneers are discussed. The proper use of anchors, types of mortar, sealant joints and kerfs on exterior veneer applications are also addressed in this informative session. Attendees will be able to understand appropriate specification of Cast Stone for architectural applications.

Craig has 25 years experience in architectural cast stone manufacturing. With Custom Cast Stone, he has handled everything from accounting, sales, and product development. On a technical level he has worked with aggregate evaluation, mold fabrication, and cast stone installation. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cast Stone Institute and serves as the Chairperson for the AIA Committee and Thin Stone Development Committee. He also serves as a voting member on The Masonry Society’s Architectural Cast Stone committee for TMS Standards 404-504-604
