Join us for a guided video tour through the construction of a new 150,000 SF building for interdisciplinary research and teaching, on the gateway site between the University campus and the City of Greensboro. Participants will learn the goals that NC A&T State University had for their new engineering building which centers around maker and fabrication spaces; the impact on planning and high performance design; and the challenges and lessons learned during construction implementation.

PRESENTED BY: Darian Walker, AIA (and others from EYP Design Team) With extensive experience in architecture, interiors and land planning field, Darian brings a unique blend of curiosity, creativity, and technical rigor to the team oriented process. With over 18 years of experience working at many scales simultaneously, he has the uncanny ability to understand and process human interactions at an array of built sizes. Darian’s focus has been on design, environmental branding, concepts, BIM documentation, and the construction process. He is a registered architect, NCARB certified with a long history in the construction industry and brings his passion for construction technics and design to every project that he touches.
