ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The AIA Triangle established the scholarship program in 2009 to recognize and support students who, through their studio work, have distinguished themselves by their clear passion and commitment to design. This award is for design excellence and promise as a future professional.
AIA Triangle is strongly committed to fostering the development of the future generation of architects and leaders of our profession. The AIA Triangle Scholarship program has raised more than $143,000 in support of students studying architecture in the Triangle.
NCSU College of Design and Wake Technical Community College competition winners are selected by February every year and recipients are recognized at the AIA Triangle Design Awards in the spring.

2024 NC STATE UNIVERSITY
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The AIA Triangle Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee members met at NC State University Brooks Hall in February 2024 to review submissions and award scholarships to NC State architecture students.
The AIA Triangle established the scholarship program in 2009 to recognize and support students who, through their studio work, have distinguished themselves by their clear passion and commitment to design. This award is for design excellence and promise as a future professional. Scholarships are supported by funds raised at the AIA Triangle Annual Golf Tournament
Congratulations to the students who participated in this year’s scholarship review. AIA Triangle awarded $18,000 in scholarships after reviewing 29 strong projects. Since its inception, the AIAT Scholarship program has awarded more than $143,000 in scholarships to 85 students.
