Computational design is the next big paradigm shift in design technology and we are looking for it to help us make better decisions. Ultimately levering the power of computers to help us solve the issues in our firm, industry, and world. This is the first of a pair of talks centered around introducing and unpacking computational design. This first talk will provide tangible examples of how Computational design has been used in the Triangle to improve design and the design process.

This is the second in a pair of talks centered around introducing and unpacking computational design. This second talk will build on the examples provided in the first talk , explain the history of computational design and unpack how we got to now. Most importantly, it will show you how to think like a computational designer.
