Architecture firms have become prime targets of cyber criminals in recent years. Join this continuing educational program to learn from the President of Raleigh based IT company, Technology Associates, what you can do as an employee and/or as a firm owner to protect your firm from a costly cyberattack.
We're excited that the tour is back this year on December 3rd. We need volunteers to make this day of showcasing residences a success. Join us at the volunteer orientation meeting scheduled on November 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the Center for Architecture and Design. We'll share all the volunteer opportunities and assignments during this meeting.

An overview of the three main elements of Light pollution which includes light trespass, sky glow and glare, as well as methods to reduce it. An analysis on the creation and importance of a candela distribution curve and how it pertains to outdoor lighting applications. An overview of exterior lighting cutoff classifications, distribution curves and an introduction to lighting zones. Finally, a synopsis of current sea turtle legislation.

Join us at the Lynch Mykins Raleigh office for a continuing education program to learn about mass timber structural systems. The program will promote understanding and increase knowledge of available system types. This presentation will focus on the evaluation of mass timber project requirements and opportunities, material selection, and assembly. Once designed, mass timber encourages social interaction in new or renovated buildings and benefits the environment.
