She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Architecture Design and Media Technology at Aalborg University, Denmark and teaches in the NAAD program at IUAV, Venice.

Lunch & Learn: Designing Properly with Architectural Masonry Veneers

This presentation discusses the importance of detailing the exterior masonry envelope properly to avoid serious moisture intrusion issues. The program will address how flashing should be installed to manage moisture, and the advantages of detailing a complete masonry wall system to mitigate water penetration. Learn why density of the masonry unit matters and how to specify a masonry solution that delivers superior moisture control through inherent design characteristics of the wall system.
