WHEN CAN I APPLY?

AIA Triangle Leadership Forum is open to non-licensed professionals and professionals who have been licensed for 10 years or less. This program is geared toward participants with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architecture or a related field.

The ideal candidate will likely fit into one of these three categories:
♦Almost Licensed – Perhaps just an exam or two away, you are expecting to be licensed by this summer and you are looking to discover what’s next for your career. 
♦New Architect – Congratulations! You just earned licensure and you are wondering “now what?”
♦Early Architect – You’ve been licensed for 2-4 years and feel stuck or unsure of your next move. 

Applications for the class of 2025/26 will be available starting January 10, 2025. Follow the steps below to pay your application fee and submit your application for consideration.

You will be asked to answer the following questions

Define a leader in 3 sentences or less.

QUESTION #2

Why is participating in the AIA Triangle Leadership Forum valuable to you at this stage of your career, and what specific contributions do you believe you can make to the 2025/26 class? (250 words or less)

QUESTION #3

Which design or non-design leader in the local Triangle community do you admire for their leadership qualities and why? (250 words or less)

UPON ACCEPTANCE TO PROGRAM

Upon notification of acceptance, payment of registration fee must be paid or relinquish position on the leadership forum roster.

2025/26 Registration Fee: $475

PAY PROGRAM REGISTRATION FEE HERE

Registration fee includes all materials, workshops, meeting sessions, featured speakers, and the retreat expenses. Conference fees are not included.
