You will not want to miss the upcoming Behind the DesignHers event on June 20th! Participants will gain insights into communication and career growth, as shared by the professional life experiences of three leaders in the Architectural and Building Industry in North Carolina. Amy Bullington, Jeané Whittington Powers, and Brandy Thompson will each share their unique perspectives. We will learn about their current women-led project in Pinehurst, and advice for overcoming obstacles in the field, while collaborating and supporting one another along the way.
Please join AIAT Women in Architecture for an informal meet and eat! Our first “Ladies Who Lunch” is scheduled for Thursday, July 13. (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm). Stop by at one of the two locations most convenient for you: Transfer Food Hall in Raleigh or Boxyard RTP. Grab your lunch and we'll save some tables!
Ready to move your career forward? Join AIA Triangle Women in Architecture for the second annual WIA Breakfast on Friday, September 22nd. Learn career lessons from a panel of accomplished women and build your network of peers, mentors, industry experts and firm principals. Following the panel discussions, we will have two rounds of breakout sessions at tables of your choosing with each table featuring a leader in our industry. There will be five table topics to choose from, including the balancing act of motherhood, advocacy and activism, mid-career moves, and more. Register today for this empowering event geared towards female architects of all ages!
